The APIPRO Project Management
Module enables the handling of
multiple work orders as a single
project, using a number of
advanced planning tools. The
Project Management module is
primarily designed to control
major activities like yearly
overhauls of whole plant
sections or design,
manufacturing and installation
of new equipment. It can,
however, be used in any
situation where the execution of
several work orders is
influenced by their mutual
relationships.
The budget, the
time scheduling of work orders,
availability of spare parts and
material either directly from
stock or ordered via the
Purchase Management module can
be controlled for the entire
project. The module provides a
Project Explorer, as seen to the
right, and template
functionality. The Project
Management module is fully
integrated with the API PRO
Maintenance module.

The project module allows you to define execution conditions for work orders. It might be so that one work order can not be started before another one has been finished. A check function warns if you attempt to plan or start work orders, which are dependent on other work orders yet not finished.
