The wireless PDA has an intuitive, user-friendly interface. Work order status is clearly visualized in the downloaded work orders list. Green dots show what parts of the work order have been processed, helping you to assess the work order’s progress status at a glance.
Powerful system access security
To keep your data secure, APIPRO utilizes User IDs and matching passwords – without them, no data can be uploaded or downloaded. APIPRO verifies every contact and only those configured as ‘PDA users’ can gain access to the system. For complete security, logging on to the PDA requires the same high level of security as logging on to API PRO. Security features include limited login attempts and specific password compositions.
Trouble-free handling of unplanned work orders
A special work flow ensures that unplanned corrective work orders get the speedy treatment they need. Unplanned work orders without planned work suppliers are sent to all PDA users with filter settings that match the other requirements. The first PDA user to accept the assignment becomes ‘responsible’ for the work order. This information is transmitted to all the other work suppliers, allowing unplanned work orders to be processed quickly and efficiently.
